Learning Outcomes

What is Teaching on the Run?

The Teaching on the Run (TOTR) program has been supporting health professionals involved in clinical teaching, supervision and assessment. It is designed to enable participants to build their confidence to apply the teaching and learning principles in the clinical workplace setting.

While the initial workshops targeted the medical profession, they have since been modified to suit other health professions and continue to be in high demand across Australia. More information about TOTR can be found on our website.

TOTR includes 7 foundation topics – Planning Learning, Clinical Teaching, Skills Teaching, Assessment, Supporting Learners, Effective Group Teaching and Clinical Supervision

Content of 7 foundation workshops

Participants will be required to complete 3/4 to 1 hour of online activities prior to attending the face to face component of each workshop
